Sickness Procedure

 

 

If your child has:

 

• A contagious illness
• Conjunctivitis
• Sickness of diarrhoea in the last 24 hours
• Headlice

 

Then your child will not be able to attend the setting until they are better or the correct time away from the setting has passed.

 

I will accept your child into the setting with everyday coughs and colds.

 

If a child becomes ill in my care and they need to go home then I will call the parent and would expect the parent to collect the child as soon as possible to minimise the spread of the infection.
